A day with Book Buddy

One student. One textbook. Every hour of her day.

Follow Ananya, B.Sc. Physics, from the 7 am bus to lights-out: the same Chapter 7, in whichever mode the moment needs. Scroll, and watch the day move.

The chapter picks up exactly where she paused.

Natural-voice narration of Chapter 7 at 1.25×, sleeping at chapter end. No juggling earbuds and a PDF.

Chapter 7 · p. 142
Specific heat capacity

Heat flows from a body at higher temperature to one at lower temperature. The specific heat capacity of water is 4186 J/kg·K, which makes it an excellent thermal buffer.

17:40A doubt · Ask Varta

Varta answers from her textbook, and shows the page.

Every answer cites the page and paragraph. If it isn't in the book, Varta says so.

Why is water's specific heat so high?
Hydrogen bonding between water molecules — breaking those bonds absorbs a lot of energy before the temperature can rise.

Questions, answered

When you upload a PDF or EPUB, Varta indexes its exact content. A student's doubt is answered strictly from that text, with clickable citations to the page.

The personal study archive in Book Buddy. It collects every highlight, annotation, Varta explanation and flashcard across all of a student's books.

Yes. Each institution is isolated; reading data is never shared across institutions or used to train public models.
